Background

ALHU International, Inc. was established in 1981 by Mr. Jeffrey J. Hughes in Mexico City and El Paso,Texas

In March of 1997, ALHU International in El Paso moved its offices and increased its personnel in order to offer a better service to its clients, as well as parts directly from ALHU's warehouse

In January of 1998, a warehouse was opened in Tizayuca Hidalgo, Mexico. This warehouse is currently used as a parts warehouse and repair shop.

Established in October of 1999, ALHU Internacional de Mexico, S.A de C.V. , opened its office building in Tlalnepantla, Mexico, to better service its clients in Mexico.

In June 2002, ALHU International, Inc.earned the President's "E" Star Award. This important award was received from the Secretary of Commerce of the United States, Mr. Donald L. Evans. This award honors companies that have made a substantial increase in its volume of exports over a sustained period, and/or made a breakthrough in a competitive market.

In September 2002, ALHU International, Inc. received the ISO 9002:1994 certification. ISO is a system accepted worldwide focusing on the processes used by the company.

ALHU International counts with sales department which offers parts, new and used machinery as well as consulting to the corrugating industry.

Through the years, ALHU International has offered the corrugated industry the best available machinery for the Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean regions.
